INTERNATIONAL MOBILITY WEEK

University of Silesia in Katowice

15-19 May 2023

We are pleased to announce the International Mobility Week which will be held at our university between 15 and 19 May 2023.

The event is addressed mainly to administrative staff dealing with international relations at their home institutions.

The programme of the International Mobility Week features presentations, trainings and workshops aimed at professional development and  strengthening of international cooperation by encouraging the exchange of best practices and experiences. It also includes a social programme with cultural visits to the landmarks of the region, including a visit to the Culture Zone in Katowice (Silesian Museum and Observation Tower) and to the Guido Mine in Zabrze.

Practical information on the organisation of the International Mobility Week (including preliminary programme, recommended accommodation, travel links and the city of Katowice etc.) is available in the side menu.

Participation in the event is free of charge. Participants are, however, expected to cover the travel, accommodation and living expenses through the Erasmus+ fund for staff training mobility (STT) available in their home institutions, or otherwise.

We can receive a total of 30 participants. In order to ensure a diversified international group, we may accept up to 2 persons per university/institution.

Please submit your application form by 20 March 2023. Results of the application procedure will be announced by e-mail by 1 April 2023 at the latest.
